Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director of HSE (DHSE), the HSE Administrator assists with the administration of the Safety programs and systems in support of all Arrow businesses within the Arrow group of companies.  The HSE Administrator plans, develops and evaluates existing Health and Safety programs, along with the DHSE and the HSE Manager, and is further responsible to assist divisions with the development of the safety program for new work sites, processes, developing worker training, evaluations and workplace inspections and audits.  In addition, the HSE Administrator will work closely with DHSE to ensure third party contractor (ISNetworld, Avetta etc.) management status is maintained. 

 

Major Responsibilities 

  • Work with the DHSE and HSE Manager to develop education and training programs, tools and resources to assist divisions maintain their OHS programs. 
  • Ensure divisions maintain accurate and updated employee orientation and training records, incident record completion, inspections and related operational documents. 
  • Assist divisions with development, training, and communication 
  • Support divisions by managing and updating third party subcontractor subscriptions such as ISNetworld, ComplyWorks, Avetta and Browz. 
  • Provide support to divisions by overseeing the contractor compliance review to third party carriers 
  • Assist with general HSE administrative duties.
  • Maintain and update records in ISNetworld, Avetta, and ComplyWorks.
  • Support the HSE team in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Prepare and distribute HSE reports and documentation.
  • Coordinate HSE training sessions and maintain training records.
  • Assist the oil field logistics group with the onboarding process for various customers.
  • Ensure all necessary documentation and compliance requirements are met for new drivers.
  • Coordinate with customer sites to schedule onboarding sessions, where necessary.
  • Perform other job duties as required or assigned. 

 

You Possess

Requirements  

  • OHS diploma/certificate, and/or CTSC/CTSP is an asset.
  • Previous experience in HSE administration or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of OHS and NSC regulations
  • Transportation/Trucking/Rail/TDG/Hazmat and various commodity experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISNetworld, Avetta, and ComplyWorks.
  • Experience with COR and Contractor Management an asset.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
