We are looking for a Lime Transloader with a Class 1 License to join us and become part of our BC Reload Team in Quesnel, BC.
  

• Competitive Pay: $32.00/hr with incentives for shorter shifts 
• Pension: $3.65 per hour - paid by Arrow

• Schedule: Need to be available to work on-call with short notice (weekdays/weekends). Hours may vary.

Arrow delivers lime trailer to our partner in Quesnel four to ten times a week. The successful applicant will need to have a class one license and be available on one or two hours notice to meet our truck driver, hook up to the trailer, pull it from our yard into our partner's yard (less than one kilometer) and then unload the lime on site.  A pneumatic blower is attached to an Arrow shunt truck and used to unload the trailer into the silo. 

• Daily unloading of materials consisting of lime
• Move lime product from Arrow site to our customer site
• Follow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations participate in identifying hazards
• Comply with all rules and regulations, protocols and established metrics
• Ability to understand cross training on all functions at facility
• Can accurately fill out all necessary paperwork, timesheets, load reports
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew 
• Provide internal and external customer service excellence
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager

• Valid Class 1 License
• Mechanical/Pneumatic knowledge is an asset
• Willing to work with materials such as lime
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (snow, rain, sub-freezing temps, heat, wind) 
• Can carry at least 25lbs
• In good physical condition
• Demonstrates strong communication skills 
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment 
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule 
• Basic training may include, but is not limited to the following: first aid, fall protection, WHMIS, PPE, Site Orientation 
• Training based on specific commodities is an asset
