As an Arrow welder/fabricator working in our large shop, you will perform welding service, maintenance and repair of tractors, trailers and mobile equipment and will use state of the art shop equipment in order to do so.

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints and welding process specifications
• Operate welding equipment and manual flame-cutting equipment
• Conduct repairs, modifications, and retrofits
• Maintain a working knowledge of changes in welding compliance, practices and techniques
• Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations

• Certification as a Welder and Fabricator (ie. Red Seal)
• Experience with repair of commercial trailers
• Aluminum welding experience is required
• Mechanic experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge and skill in operating all welding machinery, ability to weld according to pre-set parameters using MIG, ARC and TIG welding processes
• A positive attitude
• Strong safety mindset
• Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Ability to deal with people tactfully and professionally at all times
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• At least two job references
