Arrow is seeking a skilled and motivated Fleet Tire Technician to join our maintenance team in Kamloops. This full-time position is perfect for someone with commercial tire experience who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping equipment in top condition, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

As our Fleet Tire Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, repair, and inventory control of commercial truck and trailer tires across our fleet.

 

  • Inspect, rotate, and replace commercial truck and trailer tires as needed
  • Diagnose and repair tire-related issues, including punctures and uneven wear
  • Maintain detailed records of tire maintenance, replacements, and inventory levels
  • Ensure all tires/wheels are safe, roadworthy, and compliant with regulations
  • Manage inventory of tires, wheels, and related supplies to ensure stock levels are maintained
  • Keep the tire shop organized, clean, and safe
  • Assist in tire selection and purchasing based on fleet needs and cost efficiency
  • Perform additional service work on tractors and trailers as required
  • Participate in ongoing training, with the potential to enter a Commercial Transport Mechanic apprenticeship

 

You Possess

 

  • Previous experience working with commercial truck and trailer tires
  • Strong understanding of tire mounting, balancing, and repair techniques
  • Mechanical aptitude and a desire to grow your career into a Commercial Transport Mechanic
  • A positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • A safety-first mindset and attention to detail
  • Solid interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
