Travel occurs on various Interior BC highways, including Hwy 1 (Coquihalla), Hwy 5, and Hwy 97. - Oversee cargo handling and load securement, including equipment preparation, safe work practices, and compliance with applicable Acts and regulations.

The Lead Commercial Truck Technician is required to perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of tractors, trailers and mobile equipment. The Lead Commercial Truck Technician will have the ability to perform advanced diesel engine diagnostics to identify and resolve issues efficiently and accurately, as well as have the ability to repair and adjust all necessary mechanical components. Work assignments will be received in the form of oral, written or electronic work orders, but the employee is expected to determine the nature and extent of needed repairs.
