The primary role of the Working Shop Foreman is the productive and cost effective management of the Shop.  The Working Shop Foreman oversees the shop, directs and assesses the work of journeyman and apprentice level mechanics and performs the managerial and administrative requirements of the role.  You will also be working on the shop floor approx. 60% of the time and are required to perform skilled tasks in the mechanical repair and maintenance of tractors, trailers and mobile equipment. You have the ability to troubleshoot major and minor mechanical problems, the ability to repair and adjust all necessary mechanical components and have proven supervisory skills.   - Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations. - Communicate any unsafe conditions or accidents/injuries in a timely manner to the supervisor in order to facilitate prompt correction or reporting. - Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service. - Oversee, supervise, train and/or assess 2 to 10 journeyman or apprentice level mechanics (depending on shop size and location). - Follows all required and associated rules, regulations, policies and procedures. - Ensure divisional fleet on-board systems have a high degree of serviceability to that they can be properly utilized. - Make recommendations on parts and equipment specifications. - Maintain a clean and orderly work environment. - Provide routine maintenance on tractors, trailers and mobile equipment such as forklifts and loaders. - Comply with all rules and regulations, protocols and established metrics  - Follow all workplace safety policies and compliance regulations participate in identifying hazards - Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew - Check all equipment for proper performance and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. - Diagnose defects in all equipment. - Diagnose any faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair that is required. - Diagnose and repair mechanical transmissions, drive-trains and final drives. - Perform and assess incidental welding repairs on equipment. - Perform mechanical repairs on equipment in the shop and road calls when required. - Operate automotive servicing equipment, e.g. A/C recycler, etc. - Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment - Ability to operate the equipment that is serviced i.e. bring trucks, trailers and mobile equipment in and out of the shop. - Installation of new and added-on equipment. - Electrical and hydraulic troubleshooting diagnostics and repair. - Repair cooling, and lubrication systems. - Test repaired equipment for proper performance. - Maintain a working knowledge of changes in technology and repair techniques. - Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. - Ability to effectively and efficiently prioritize daily work. - Accurate completion of work orders and time cards. - Keep detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation on file. - Other mechanical repair work as required.

As an Arrow driver, you will be hauling wood fibre locally in B train and walking floor trailers. Wood fibre is mainly comprised of grindings, but we also haul sawdust and hogfuel. You will travel to our bush grinder locations in and around Kamloops. The Marine Painter/Sandblaster plays a critical role in the maintenance and preservation of marine vessels and structures   Major responsibilities include: - Perform sandblasting operations to remove rust, old coatings, and marine growth from vessel surfaces. - Inspect surfaces for damage and corrosion, and prepare them for coating application. - Apply marine-grade primers, paints, and coatings using specialized equipment and techniques. - Ensure proper adhesion, thickness, and coverage to provide effective protection against corrosion and environmental factors. - Apply anti-fouling coatings to the underwater surfaces of vessels to prevent the growth of marine organisms. - Follow manufacturer specifications and regulatory requirements for anti-fouling product application. - Maintain sandblasting and painting equipment specific to marine applications. - Perform routine inspections, cleanings, and maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and safety. - Adhere to all maritime safety regulations, including those related to hazardous materials and environmental protection. - Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safe work practices at all times. - Participate in safety training and drills as required by company policies and regulations. - Conduct visual inspections and quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. - Touch up any imperfections or areas of concern to maintain the integrity and appearance of coatings. - Maintain accurate records of surface preparation, coating application, and material usage. - Complete required documentation for regulatory compliance and record-keeping purposes.

The Fleet Support Services Coordinator works with all key internal and external stakeholders to optimize the effective, efficient and timely commissioning and decommissioning of all rolling assets as they pertain to the Arrow Group of Companies.  In this role, you will optimize, implement and execute best practices as it relates to the onboarding and offboarding of rolling assets from cradle to grave. This will include but is not limited to the oversite of licensing, registration, permitting, compliance adherence, quality assurance, communication and customer service excellence with all involved.   Major Responsibilities - Ensure the safe, efficient and economical transition of equipment from the vendor to the representative ‘owner’ at the Arrow Group of Companies. This includes guaranteeing equipment operability in terms of performance, reliability, safety and information traceability. This should also comply with the agreed to schedule, costs, quality requirements and safety requirements as established with the vendor and owner. - Ensure the safe, efficient and economical transition of equipment from the ‘owner’ during the decommissioning process when equipment becomes obsolete or as owners change their needs, technology, approaches etc.… - Develop processes and document same (S.O.P’s) regarding best practice in terms of the commissioning and decommissioning of assets from cradle to grave. - Participate in the quality assurance of new builds and mods to ensure adherence to functional specifications. - Work with all Arrow Group of Company locations to determine inventory requirements for new asset commissioning and requirements for decommissioning. - Work with shops to schedule PDI/Rig Out. - Participate in vehicle return inspections. - Coordinate the delivery of new assets including intercompany transfers. - Build and maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external customers/stakeholders. - Understand rules, regulations, policy and laws pertaining to the commissioning process. - Maintain up to date and accurate electronic and other files pertaining to assets and transactions regarding same. - Develop and implement strategies to streamline and optimize the fleet licensing and registration processes. - Oversee the timely renewal of vehicle licenses, permits and registrations to maintain fleet legality and avoid penalties. - Monitor changes in regulations and update the internal policies and procedures accordingly. - Coordinate and assist with audits and inspections. - Other duties as assigned by Director.

The Administrator’s principal role is to ensure the efficient, effective, and accurate flow of informationfor Accounts Payableand Payroll for the division. The Administrator ensures processes are followed and items completed in Arrow’s various software applications on an ongoing basis and as per accounting cycledeadlines.
